Hello Resident, We are appealing for information following a report of burglary in Oldbrook. The incident occurred between 7.00 pm - 7.30 pm on Sunday, 22 February 2026 in Dexter Avenue, Oldbrook. A woman in her seventies, was alerted by her dog to people at the front door of her bungalow. The victim has heard noises at the front door and three male offenders wearing hooded tops and face coverings have entered. The victim has described one of the three offenders as a black man and has gestured with his hand to be quiet and ushered her into the kitchen. The victim complied and remained with this man whilst two other offenders have searched the property. The victim had an alarm in her bag which was in the kitchen and she managed to access the alarm. This disturbed the offenders who all left. Nothing is known to have been stolen. Investigating officer, Detective Constable Keely Pringle, based at Milton Keynes police station, said; “If you are in the area surrounding Dexter Avenue, please can you check your CCTV/Door camera footage, to see if it captured anything during that evening, that could help us with our investigation.” "If you have any information around this incident, please contact the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting reference 43260089521 or online. “If you do not want to talk to the police, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111.” | ||
